Cloning a GitHub Repository In this video, I demonstrate how to copy a GitHub repository from github.com down to your own machine. I’ll demonstrate both approaches: downloading a ZIP archive of the code straight from your browser, and cloning the repository over HTTPS from the command line — using bash or Git Bash on Linux, macOS, or Windows, just like a professional developer — so that later you can commit and push your own changes from the terminal as well. Thanks for watching, and I’ll see you in the next tutorial!
